Wembley guide for matchgoing supporters

'

More than 38,000 Charlton Athletic supporters will descend on Wembley Stadium this Sunday to watch the Addicks take on Leyton Orient in the Sky Bet League One play-off final (KO 1.01pm BST).

Given the exceptionally high demand, the club have continued to request additional tickets throughout the week but have been advised by the EFL and Wembley Stadium that no additional tickets can be made available.

Those attending are asked to check Wembley Stadium's official matchday guide, which can be found here, and take note of the below information...

With train engineering works taking place over the weekend, supporters are advised to plan their journey in advance. For those driving, the club have been assigned the pink car park. Event day parking at Wembley Stadium is limited and must be booked in advance via the Wembley Official Parking website.

Wembley Stadium operates a restricted bag policy. Each supporters can only bring one small bag into the stadium, and it must not be bigger than A4 size:

  • Height 297mm (11.7 inches)
  • Width 210mm (8.27 inches)
  • Depth 210mm (8.27 inches)

Please note this means the overall bag size. Bags that are half full and folded over to reduce their size will not be accepted.

A bag drop facility is located next to the Ibis Hotel on South Way and is open from 10am until two hours after the full-time whistle.

Wembley Stadium's full list of prohibited items can be found here.

The handling and letting off of pyrotechnics (flares) anywhere inside or outside the ground is prohibited. Fans caught letting off pyrotechnics will not get into the ground or be ejected.

Smoking at the ground, or use of e-cigarettes, is strictly forbidden and will result in ejection from the stadium.

Supporters are advised that street drinking is not permitted across the whole of Brent and will be enforced under the Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO), so a dedicated Wembley Fan Zone or pub is the best place for fans to go to soak up the pre-match atmosphere.

Both BOXPARK Wembley and the Arena Square Fan Zone have been allocated as Charlton-only locations on matchday

Supporters must show their match ticket upon entry to BOXPARK. All those under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian over the age of 25.

Pre-booked tickets are valid for entry before 11am. From that point onwards, tickets can be purchased on the door on a first come, first served basis.

The Arena Square Fan Zone will open from 10am for food and alcohol and is free to enter, but you must present your match ticket for entry. The bars close will close at 12pm and the site closes at 12.30pm.

The club have been also been allocated the following pubs and bars:

  • Crystals (Sports Bar & Aqua Lounge)
  • The Arch
  • Station 31
  • The Robin
  • JJ Moons
  • The Corner House
  • Black Sheep
  • The Green Man
  • Sixty Six Bar & Grill
  • La Regina, St George's Hotel
  • The White Horse

The Green Man will be holding a collection for the Jack Jeffreys Superhero Trust on the day.
