Charlton Athletic can confirm that Beth Roe, Mary Bashford, Ellie Brazil and Jess Gray have departed the club at the expiration of their contracts.

The four players were offered new contracts by the club but have decided to explore options elsewhere.

Beth Roe became an Addick in 2021 when she joined on loan from Brighton and Hove Albion and made it permanent the following season. She has since become a prominent feature of the team, appearing in over 100 games for the Addicks.

Mary Bashford has been at Charlton since the age of 15, joining the Addicks’ Regional Talent Club. She secured her permanent spot in the August 2022 and has been an asset to the squad since then.

Jess Gray joined from Billericay Town in 2022 and has made 22 appearances in her time here. A standout moment for the keeper was last seasons FA Cup game against Chelsea where Gray made a number of outstanding saves.

Ellie Brazil joined the Addicks last summer and made an impression on both fans and players winning Players Player and and Player of the Year after scoring eight goals throughout the season.

Charlton Athletic would like to thank the players for their efforts at the club, and we wish them all the best for the future.
