Tyreece Campbell receives first Jamaica call-up

'

Academy graduate Tyreece Campbell has earned his first call-up to the Jamaica senior squad ahead of their World Cup qualifiers against the British Virgin Islands and Guatemala.

The 21-year-old has enjoyed an impressive season for Nathan Jones' promotion-winning Addicks, scoring nine goals.

Campbell joins fellow Addick Kaheim Dixon, who scored in the Reggae Boyz's Unity Cup tie against Nigeria last weekend, in Steve McClaren's squad.

Jamaica face the British Virgin Islands on Saturday (KO 8pm BST) before hosting Guatemala on Wednesday (KO 12am BST).

The duo will also remain with the squad for this summer's CONCACAF Gold Cup in Canada and the United States.

The Reggae Boyz have been drawn alongside Guatemala, Guadeloupe and Panama in Group C and get their campaign under way on Tuesday, June 17th.

Good luck, lads!
