Charlton Athletic are delighted to announce that club captain Kiera Skeels has signed a new two-year contract.
Skeels, who has been with the Addicks for the past four seasons, has worn the captain’s armband for three of those, playing a pivotal role both on and off the pitch.
Speaking on her new deal, Skeels said: "To be a captain of a club like Charlton, it's an honour. Over the last four seasons I have enjoyed my time so much. As a team we have progressed, and I really feel like I want to be part of it for the next two seasons."
Looking ahead to the 2025/26 campaign, Skeels is excited about the new format, which will see three promotion spots up for grabs to reach the top flight.
She said: "Going into the season, there are three spaces up for grabs and as a team we will try our best to be part of that."
The centre-back has already made over 100 appearances for the club and is hungry to add to that total as she continues her Charlton journey.
Congratulations, Kiera!
