Forward Matty Godden recently visited Charlton Athletic Community Trust’s (CACT) Premier League Kicks session at Ballerz, located in Bluewater Shopping Centre.
CACT’s Premier League Kicks programme uses the power of sport to engage and inspire young people. The FREE sessions at the state-of-the-art Ballerz air dome take place every other Monday and are open to boys and girls aged 11 to 15. Designed for players of all abilities, the sessions aim to help participants reach their full potential both on and off the pitch.
During the visit, Godden said: “Everyone knows that I took part in the Community Trust’s activities when I was growing up, and I’d have loved being involved in a session like this. It’s a fantastic initiative. It was amazing to see the session taking place at such a state-of-the-art venue. It provides a safe environment for young people to enjoy themselves while playing football - I’d have been here every time when I was a kid!”
